The Muses were the Goddesses of Poetry, Music and Art in Greek mythology. They often appear in gatherings of gods or heroes. Muses were usually divided into two generations. The elder Muse was the daughter of Uranus and Gaia, and the younger Muse was the daughter of Zeus and Monemosa.
